I go by a couple usernames online: qtbeans and radnik. Radnik came first when I was 15, and it's a combination of the first three letters of my last name and the first three letters of my first name. Qtbeans came later in 2021. The qt is just cutie! Beans because I love all kinds of beans, but specifically baked beans and kitty toe beans.

While I haven't stopped drawing since I was 3, I've taken many breaks. I started with crayons, colored & graphite pencils and markers, not really exploring past that until high school. I discovered I loved watercolor, whether they came in gel, liquid, pans, pencils or sticks. Between high school and through college I tried charcoal, acrylic & oil paint, COPIC & other alcohol-based markers, ZIG brush pens, India & Sumi ink, and soft & hard pastels (like Nupastels, which I ended up loving soo much).

Around 2014, I started drawing digitally with a Wacom bamboo tablet and used Adobe photoshop. It was a nightmare to get used to, but I loved the results. Because I wasn't careful enough, I got too many migraines and didn't touch digital art again for 9 years. My brother let me use his Gaomon tablet a couple years ago and I haven't really stopped drawing digitally since, but there's still so much I've yet to learn. I use Krita now!
